Today’s FDA panel on SSRIs in pregnancy lacked balance and failed to reflect the evidence. Untreated depression and anxiety can lead to serious health risks for pregnant patients. SSRIs can be lifesaving and life-changing. Patients deserve access to evidence-based, compassionate care. ACOG will continue to advocate for research and safe mental health treatment in pregnancy. Staff Spotlight!
We are so proud of our very own therapist, Rhonda Senakievich, who was recently featured on a podcast to share her expertise on perinatal mental health.
Perinatal mental health — which includes mental health during pregnancy and after birth — is a topic close to our hearts, and we’re grateful to have Rhonda on our team providing compassionate care and support to individuals during this critical time.
A big thank you to Danielle Minch, NP, and Marimar Weeks, NP, for providing such a thoughtful and supportive platform to discuss this important topic.
Thank you, Rhonda, for using your voice and expertise to help break the stigma and raise awareness. Your dedication to helping new and expecting parents navigate their mental health is making a real difference!

What a fun, informative and beautiful day!

💙 THANK YOU from Team Wheeling! 💙

What an incredible day we had at The Climb on Saturday! Despite the fierce heat, we came together as a community and made something truly special happen.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, whether you were there in person or supported us from afar. From our amazing volunteers (we truly couldn’t have done it without you!) to the resource tables filled with helpful information, to our inspiring speaker, and the fun-filled activities for the kids, it was a day to remember. 🫶🎨🎤

A huge THANK YOU to our generous sponsors, Amazon Wishlist donors, and everyone who contributed to our fundraising page, your kindness helped make the day smooth, meaningful, and full of impact. 🙌

Special thanks to the City of Wheeling for their support, the Washington Lands VFD for stepping up to help with tables and chairs, and LT. Candy from the Salvation Army for the tables, we’re so proud to live in a place where community spirit shines this bright.

The Climb is more than just an event, it’s a movement to raise awareness for perinatal mental health, to let families know they’re not alone, and to connect them to resources and hope. Our mission doesn’t stop here. We’ll be working year-round to keep spreading awareness, and we’re already dreaming bigger for next year’s event!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s keep climbing together. 💙
