📱💡 Bridging generations, one tap at a time!

Thanks to SeniorSync, our residents at Lester Senior Living are becoming more confident with technology every week! Led by amazing volunteers Alex and Avery Chang, these biweekly tech classes teach our seniors how to use iPads and iPhones—starting with the basics and progressing to FaceTime, web browsing, and even social media.

Each session is paced for comfort and clarity, ensuring everyone feels empowered—not overwhelmed. And with proper device management, safety from scams and hackers is always top of mind.

We love seeing our residents light up as they master new digital skills and connect with loved ones in new ways. 👏💻❤️

🐾 Nothing brings joy quite like a furry friend! Residents at Lester Senior Living were all smiles during this week’s pet therapy visit. 🐶💛

Our special guest, a gentle and loving therapy dog, brought comfort, companionship, and lots of tail wags. Pet therapy continues to be a highlight—fostering emotional connection, reducing stress, and brightening everyone’s day.

👩‍🍳🥔 Cooking Club Spotlight: Ukrainian Potato Salad – Olivye! 🇺🇦❤️

Our residents rolled up their sleeves in this week’s Cooking Club, preparing a delicious traditional dish — Ukrainian Potato Salad, also known as Olivye!

While chopping, mixing, and tasting, they shared cherished family recipes, stories from home, and the importance of preserving cultural traditions through food. 💬👵👨‍🍳

It was more than just cooking — it was a celebration of heritage, connection, and keeping memories alive, one dish at a time.

We kicked off our Rhythm and Roses Evening Concert Series with a bang — our first event, “We Are the Fireworks,” lit up the night with music, joy, and community spirit! 🎇

Residents and family members danced the night away to incredible live entertainment, surrounded by good vibes and even better company. 💖

🤠🍔 Lester Family BBQ – Western Style! 🌞🎶

We had a good ol' time at our annual Lester Family BBQ, where this year’s Western theme brought out all the hats and country spirit! The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was top-notch.

🎤 Guests enjoyed live music from a talented country singer
👢 Line dancing fun led by the amazing instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Studio
🤎 And most importantly – the joy of gathering together as a community!
