🍂It’s Fall y’all! 🍂
Try this hearty and healthy meal for lunch or dinner!

Ingredients
1 acorn squash
8 oz 93% lean ground turkey
1/2 cup white northern beans
85 grams grape tomatoes halved
1/4 cup onions chopped
1/2 tsp. olive oil
2 tbs. shredded parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 350F
1. Cut squash in half & spoon out seeds, then place on pan and bake for 30 mins
2. While squash is cooking heat up pan to medium-low and sauté chopped onions & tomatoes with olive oil for 5 minutes
3. Add ground turkey, cook through, and add desired seasonings (salt & pepper)
4. Then add white beans, stir, and let simmer until the acorn squash is finished
5. Pull the acorn squash from the oven and fill each half evenly, top with a tbs. of parmesan cheese on each and put back in the oven for 25-30 mins.

Prep this hearty chili for only 15 minutes then let your crockpot do the rest of the work!

Ingredients
2 pounds 93% lean ground turkey
2 packets chili seasoning
1 whole red or orange bell pepper, diced
1 whole jalapeno, minced (with seeds for heat)
1/2 onion diced
2 14oz cans diced tomatoes of your choice (we like fire roasted)
2 cups water
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 14oz can chili beans or red beans (rinse the beans from can with water)
8 Servings

Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown ground turkey until it is cooked. Strain grease. Place back in pan.
2. Add red or orange pepper, onion, jalapeno, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
3. Place all ingredients from skillet into crockpot. Add canned tomatoes, water and chili seasoning. Stir well.
4. Cook in covered crockpot on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
5. Approx 10 minutes before serving, add beans to mix.

Not all produce is created equal.

Our food system is flooded with pesticides—many of which are linked to hormone disruption, neurological damage, and cancer.

Here’s the good news:
You can reduce your exposure dramatically by following the EWG’s Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 lists.

🍓𝗗𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝘇𝗲𝗻 = the fruits and veggies with the highest pesticide residues. Always try to buy these organic if you can afford it. Note: these are still better than any ultra-processed food.

If you can't afford to buy organic, that's okay; make sure you rinse your produce well. (We recommend rinsing all produce well include those with a rind like watermelon)

🥑 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟱 = generally safe to buy conventional. (Often has skin or a husk)

This is a great on-the-go snack or breakfast that you and your kids will enjoy!

Ingredients
3/4 cup almond flour
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 large eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp agave
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350F and place 11 muffin liners into muffin tin.
2. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
3. Gradually stir in eggs, canned pumpkin, vanilla extract, apple sauce and agave.
4. Spoon the batter into the muffin liners, filling each one 3/4 full.
5. Bake 16-18 minutes or until the muffins are cooked through and tops are golden brown.
6. Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool!
7. Store in the fridge.

Is your fitness defined only by what you do in the gym?
