To help support our community, Bloom will be donating proceeds from the next two soft tissue sessions to Valley Outreach in Stillwater. Book or purchase within the next two weeks to be part of this effort.

The session can include any combination of cupping, dry needling, soft tissue work and percussion massage.

Lovely morning with some lovely mama's! Thanks for hosting me, The Mom Walk Collective- Hugo, MN ! We had a nice walk, enjoyed coffee and snacks while we went over core and pelvic floor awareness/coordination, posture reset tips and a mini stroller workout 💪

In response to the growing need at our local food shelves, I’m donating the proceeds from the next two 60-minute wellness sessions, scheduled within the next two weeks, to the White Bear Lake Food Shelf.

These sessions can include any combination of soft tissue work, dry needling, cupping, percussion massage, and more — tailored to your needs. It’s a great way to unwind or find relief from headaches, back pain, and other aches and pains.

I'm looking forward to hosting a mom's walk through The Mom Walk Collective- Hugo, MN on Nov 20th! Come join us for a nice relaxing morning, and meet some other mama's!

I'm so excited to announce that Bloom will be offering a postpartum fitness class!!!

🌟Build Your Base: Postpartum Fitness

Led by: Emily Helseth, OTR/L
Emily is an ISSA certified group fitness instructor, with a specialty in postpartum fitness. She's also a pediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about helping parents and their little ones live their best lives. In addition to being a full-time mom and part time therapist, you can find her at the gym, gardening, running, or biking.
.. Emily is awesome and the sweetest mama! So excited to have her share her gift of teaching postpartum classes at Bloom 💟

🌟 About the class: This gentle fitness class is for mama's (6 weeks and beyond, cleared by their provider) who are looking to reconnect with their bodies postpartum and connect with others at the same stage of life. We will focus on rebuilding core and overall body strength and stability using breath work, circuit training, and low-impact movements.

🌟 Pre-crawling babies are welcome to join!

🌟 Small group setting — just 6 spots to keep things supportive and personalized!

Just a friendly reminder to Exhale with Exertion 🗣. This helps decrease the amount of pressure down on your pelvic organs (bladder, uterus, re**um), and ideally your pelvic floor kicks in just a bit to provide you with a little extra support.

Example: blow out as you get off of the couch, lift your kids up, put your baby in the crib, squat a heavy weight, and so on.

Mama's, this is one step you can take to be proactive with your pelvic floor and core health, or if you're experiencing leaking, managing prolapse and/or diastasis.
