Is hospice care only for cancer patients? Actually, no.
At Agape Hospice, we provide specialized end-of-life support for many chronic conditions, including:
- Heart failure
- COPD
- Dementia
- Stroke
- Kidney disease
- Neurological conditions

If your loved one is making frequent trips to the ER or their condition is declining, they may be eligible for 100% covered care through Medicare. Our mission is to provide dignity, comfort, and peace right where you are.

Deciding when to transition to hospice care is one of the hardest conversations a family can have. But knowing the signs can help you make a choice based on comfort, dignity, and love rather than crisis.

In this video, we cover 5 signs that it might be time to consider extra support:
- Frequent hospital visits
- Increased fatigue or sleeping
- Unexplained weight loss
- Recurring infections
- A shift in goals from "cure" to "comfort"

We are here to walk this path with you. Send us a message or give us a call. ❤️

- Skin & Comfort: Repositioning to prevent pressure injuries and applying soothing lotions.

🤍 Happy National Caregivers Day 🤍

Today we honor all caregivers. The family members and professionals who serve with compassion, patience, and open hearts.

Caregiving is more than a role; it’s a calling. It means showing up with kindness, listening with intention, and offering comfort in moments that matter most. It’s about presence, dignity, and walking alongside others with grace.

At Agape Hospice, we are grateful for a team that leads with heart. Pictured here are members of our care team — including our Owner/RN, Assistant Administrator/CNA, and Social Worker — each bringing their own skills, compassion, and dedication to the families we serve. Together, our team works relentlessly to ensure no one feels alone and every person is cared for with respect and love.

To every caregiver, whether caring for a loved one or serving others through your profession — thank you for all that you do. Your care makes a lasting difference 🤍

🤍 We invite you to honor a caregiver in your life today by sharing this post or leaving a comment of appreciation below. 🤍

🤍 Community — I Truly Need Your Help. 🤍
I am the RN owner of a new local hospice, and I opened this agency because I believe people deserve deeply personal, compassionate care at the end of life — not to feel like a number in a system.
We are small on purpose. No revolving door of staff. When you call, you speak directly to me. I personally complete nursing visits and take time to truly know each patient and family.

Right now, we are working hard to grow our census so we can continue serving families in our community the way they deserve.

Many people don’t realize hospice is appropriate when someone has:
• Frequent hospitalizations
• Advanced heart, lung, kidney disease, or dementia
• Cancer no longer seeking aggressive treatment
• Increased weakness, weight loss, or decline
• A physician prognosis of about 6 months or less if the disease runs its natural course
Hospice is not about giving up. It’s about comfort, dignity, and support — for both the patient and the family.

If you know someone who may qualify, or even if a family just has questions, please share this post or message me directly.
This isn’t just my business — this is my calling. And I would be honored to serve our community 🤍

Happy Monday! ☀️
We know your schedule is probably packed. But before it all starts, give yourself five minutes of peace. Grab something good to eat, finish your coffee, and reset. Taking care of yourself is the best way to make sure you’re ready for the day.

Happy Friday from Agape! ☀️

Is there anything better than a day where the sun is finally out and the weather is this beautiful? We are soaking up every bit of the sunshine and the extra boost of energy it brings to our patients and our team.

At Agape, we believe that "living well" means making the most of these gorgeous days. Even something as simple as sitting by a sunny window can do wonders—it’s amazing how much a little natural light can lift the mood and provide that much-needed Vitamin D.

We hope your weekend is filled with fresh air, bright smiles, and plenty of sunshine!

It’s the little things that hold the most weight.

Maybe it’s a favorite story told for the hundredth time, the soft melody of a song that takes you back, or the focused silence during a long afternoon of playing board games. In a busy world, these are things we often do just to "fill the time." But at Agape, we believe these moments are the time.

We know how precious every hour is. Our goal is to handle the heavy lifting and the complex details so your personal time can be spent doing exactly what matters. And for those moments when you can't be there, we are truly honored to step in.

We don’t just see it as a job; we see it as a commitment to being a steady friend and a warm presence. Whether it’s sharing a laugh or simply giving a hand to hold, we treat those moments exactly as we would for our own family members. 🐘❤️
