Merger with MNPHAM and Zoltan Labs is Complete:
For the past few years we have been working with Zoltan Labs, to express a human recombinant regenerative protein known as PLAP (Placental Alkaline Phosphatase). Zoltan Labs was the holder of many patents for the use of PLAP.

After MNPHARM successfully expressed PLAP at 1/10th the cost of traditional methods, it made sense to merge the two companies.

MNPHARM now produces PLAP at a lower cost than anyone in the world, and holds 19 patents for the use of PLAP.

Among other Patented attributes, PLAP Promote the Generation of Skin Cells, which can be used to Treat Acne Vulgaris, Melanoma, Scaring, Burn Victim's, Skin Mesh Dressings, Plaque Psoriasis, Nail Infections, Infections of Non-Healing Diabetic Wounds, Puncture Wounds, Surgical Wounds and Incisions, Abrasions, Lacerations, Ulcers, Gum Disease, Skin Tears, Wounds Caused by Bites or Stings to name a few.

The focus for regenerative medicine is to restore rather than just treat a variety of medical conditions and is considered the "what's next" for therapeutic treatment. The cost for proteins needed by researchers is very high and can inhibit therapeutic discovery. MNPHARM is dedicated to producing human recombinant proteins needed for regenerative therapeutic development and lowering the cost to the research community using our proprietary plant based protein expression methods. This week MNPHARM has successfully produced another regenerative recombinant protein. Recombinant Human Bone Morphogenetic Protein 2 (rhBMP-2) is shown to stimulate the production of bone, tissue and cartilage. MNPHARM is now able to consistently express and purify human recombinant BMP-2 to a purity of 97%+.

Our move last February to our new office and lab facility in Oakdale, MN has proven to be a great accelerator for achieving our goals. We are now regularly purifying the regenerative protein VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) used in many cancer therapeutics. We will also soon have our second product BMP2 (bone morphogenetic protein) which helps to create the right environment for bone regeneration. MNPHARM is producing regenerative proteins needed for therapeutic research and providing it to the research community at a lower cost. Reducing these costs will allow researchers to dream bigger, accelerate their research while advancing plant based medicine.
