Fantastic finds at Mann's Market today! Increasing our intake of healthful foods is a whole-family endeavor. Try to fill half of your kids’ plates with fruits and vegetables. On the other half of the plate, leave room for lean meats, whole grains, beans, eggs, low-fat yogurts and cheeses. Highly-processed foods are a part of our lives and culture, so it’s important to teach your children how to develop a healthy relationship with those foods too! Rather than making those foods a part of the everyday diet, try to offer them just every so often. Eat plants and buy local!
