Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund
We provide financial emergency assistance for honorably discharged veterans with at least 90 days of service
Burial of Honorably Discharged Veterans and Spouse
If the veterans estate is less than $40,000 the NCVA will pay $300 to the estate of a deceased veteran or spouse. Headstone Setting Fee
The NCVA will pay a $35 headstone setting fee to the cemetery sexton for a cement foundation for a government issued headstone. Federal Assistance

Our Service Officers are available to assist veterans, their spouses, and their children in initiating claims for service connected disabilities, pensions, widow's pensions, and Dependent Indemnity Compensation (DIC), obtaining lost discharge papers or providing guidance when dealing with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
