🚨 Measles Cases Rising in the U.S. – What You Need to Know! 🚨
There’s been a big increase in measles cases across the country, including right here in Minnesota.
🦠 Quick Facts:
• Over 900 measles cases in the U.S. so far in 2026
• Most cases are in people who were not vaccinated
• Measles spreads easily through the air — just being near someone who is sick can be enough!
📍 In North Dakota (Fargo):
• 7 cases have been confirmed as of February 18
💉 Protect Yourself & Others:
• The measles vaccine is safe and very effective
• 2 doses = 97% protection
• Make sure you and your kids are up to date — especially before traveling!
👉 Watch for symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a rash
📞 If you think someone might have measles, call your doctor or clinic right away.
