Today was such a meaningful and heartwarming day.
Our residents have been learning sign language!

We were honored to have a special visit from some friends that are deaf. They assisted us with some hands-on signing practice. Their kindness, patience, and willingness to share their language made the experience even more impactful. We are so thankful for their visit.

For our residents, discovering sign language has opened up a whole new way to communicate, and to build a sense of confidence. Proving that it’s never too late to learn something new.
Thank you to our amazing visitors for reminding us that communication goes beyond words!

Our residents came together for a meaningful and informative discussion about Parkinson's disease, sharing personal experiences, learning from one another, building a stronger sense of why and how it affects us.

This special day is a reminder to raise awareness, show support, and honor the strength of those living with Parkinson’s. Through education, compassion, and connection, we continue to stand with each other every step of the way. We won't be defined by a disease! 💙
