Asthma Allergy & Sinus Center Clinical Trials Unit Specializing in Asthma, Allergy and Sinus Related Clinical Research All the physicians and nurse/study coordinators are experienced in clinical trials.

AASC Clinical Trials Unit is a division of the Asthma, Allergy, and Sinus Center located in three regions of Maryland. We are a single specialty, group practice, specializing in allergy, asthma, immunology, COPD and sinus problems. The practice was started in 1996 and now includes four physicians, one physician assistant, one nurse practitioner and four nurse/study coordinators. The practice is closely affiliated with two major community teaching hospitals, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. The center is headed by Drs. Manav Singla & Sudhir Sekhsaria. All investigators and study coordinators are certified in the Human Subjects Protection Program at the MedStar Health Research Institute. All physicians are board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. All staff are BLS certified.
