🍁 Fall into Art with Elders Recap 🎨💙

The ladies of Beta Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter had the pleasure of spending a heartwarming afternoon at Rossville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for our Fall into Art with Elders community service event!

Together with the residents, we enjoyed a morning of painting, laughter, and meaningful conversation. The room was filled with smiles, creativity, and the spirit of sisterhood as we shared in the joy of self-expression and connection. 💐

We’re grateful for the opportunity to brighten the day of our elders and remind them how cherished they are. 💙

As we all know, bullying is a major problem. It has no boundaries - mentally, physically or geographically! No matter your experiences, we all know someone that has either been bullied or been the victim of a bully - or maybe you were the bully...

How can we fix it, if we don’t address it? Prevention starts with us!

Today, we are seeing more with words wielded as weapons for defamation, online trolling, and even different forms of manipulative bullying through hazing.

This goes beyond school-aged children. It’s on a collegiate level, in the workplace, in the church, your local women’s group, or it could be amongst your group of friends.

Bullying remains largely understated and unaddressed. Turning a blind eye only fortifies a woman’s self-censorship and erodes their self-esteem. We must do better. It’s our responsibility.

So today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. invites you to wear your orange, and join us in rallying for and addressing bullying to draw attention to this issue within your own communities. Together we can make a change - because everyone has a role to play in bullying prevention!

This past weekend, BATZ laced up our sneakers in support of an amazing cause—the St. Jude’s Virtual 5K Walk! 💙👟

Even though we walked miles apart, our hearts were united to help ensure no child fights cancer alone. Every step we took brought us closer to a future filled with hope, healing, and breakthroughs.

We are proud to stand with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and continue uplifting families, children, and communities through service.

BATZ Sorors proudly joined our sisters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. on Capitol Hill for Zeta Day on the Hill. Together, sorors united their voices to advocate for issues that deeply impact our communities, including:

✔️ Pay equity & workplace fairness
✔️ Equitable voting access, voter rights & preclearance protections
✔️ Maternal health equity

Through dialogue with lawmakers and leaders, we continue the legacy of Zeta women standing at the forefront of advocacy, ensuring that justice, fairness, and equity remain priorities for all.
