Beta Alpha Tau Zeta chapter participated in Logan Elementary School’s Annual Cultural Celebration!

In continued support of our community partners, BATZ Sorors planned a fun and engaging arts and crafts station that highlighted African American children through representations of traditional clothing and diverse hairstyles. Sorors also enthusiastically assisted with the Headwrapping station, ensuring that students and families had a meaningful and culturally enriching experience.

Through moments like these, BATZ continues to demonstrate its commitment to service, cultural celebration, and meaningful community engagement.

In honor of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Finer Womanhood Observance, the Ladies of Beta Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter enjoyed a beautiful time of fellowship with Damon Dorsey and the members of Walk By Faith Ministries. Surrounded by family, friends, faith, and community, it was truly a meaningful gathering filled with encouragement, connection, and joy.

The ladies of Beta Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter proudly supported our local Domestic Violence Center by donating essential comfort items for individuals and families in need. Our chapter delivered a total of 70 pillows, pillowcases and sheet sets, along with 7 laundry baskets and ribbons and bows for future gift wrapping.

These items were given to help provide comfort, care, and dignity to those who are rebuilding their lives. We are honored to continue serving our community and supporting survivors through acts of compassion and sisterhood.

Today, we held our “heARTwork with Seniors” event at Rossville Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center and it was a beautiful celebration of creativity, joy, and heart health!

In recognition of American Heart Month, this Zetas Have Heart event brought our seniors together for a morning of stress-releasing painting and Heart-Healthy Bingo, all while learning simple ways to care for their minds and bodies.

As brushes flowed, we kept the excitement going with Heart-Healthy Bingo, highlighting everyday habits and foods that support stronger hearts. We also gave away thoughtful gifts that prompt independence and mindfulness.

Studies show that creativity such as painting supports a healthy heart by lowering stress, regulating blood pressure, releasing endorphins, and encouraging mindfulness which improves heart rhythm and reduces tension.

As always, it is our pleasure to create meaningful events that positively impact the lives others.

Standing in unity with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., State of Maryland, and our brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., we had the distinguished opportunity to engage with our state legislators during the legislative session. The presenters shared valuable insight on heart wellness from both a holistic perspective and through nutrition and exercise, offering practical and empowering ways to support long-term heart health.
