I got a couple pans of chicken spaghetti today from my friend Krista Harvey, owner of Boxcar BBQ - White Oak. One for our family and one for a friend. It’s sooooo good and fresh! If you’re pressed for time and need a rescue go pick up a pan at Boxcar BBQ in White Oak. They’re not frozen so they’re ready to pop in the oven right away. Thank me later! 😜

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share a little about Take and Bake by Krista! My name is Krista Harvey and I’m the chef behind it all. I’m married to Justin Harvey (the man behind Boxcar BBQ ❤️) and together we have two amazing kiddos 🩷🩵. You can usually catch my smiling face at Boxcar BBQ - White Oak during lunch hours.
My cooking style is very southern, full of flavor, and always made with love. (And yes—I believe onions and bell peppers belong in pretty much everything 😉).
I started Take and Bake by Krista because cooking has always been a passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve found so much joy in preparing meals for friends and family during life’s big moments—whether it was welcoming a new baby, recovering from surgery, or grieving the loss of a loved one. People have told me for years that I should sell my food, and many have even requested dishes for their dinner… so I finally thought, why not? 🤷🏼♀️ And here we are!
