💼Thursday Tips: Workplace Trauma

Workplace trauma is real and often overlooked. It’s not just about having a “bad job” or a stressful week. Toxic environments can take a serious toll on your mental, emotional, and even physical well-being over time. Experiences like constant pressure, lack of support, unclear boundaries, or feeling undervalued can build up and leave lasting impacts.

It may show up as increased anxiety, exhaustion, trouble “switching off,” or feeling on edge even outside of work. If this sounds familiar, know that your experience is valid and it matters.

The good news is there are ways to protect your well-being while navigating difficult work environments.

You deserve a work environment that respects your time, your voice, and your mental health.

🌿 Monday Motivation: There Is Always Hope

Sometimes our minds can be our loudest critics, telling us stories that feel heavy, overwhelming, and hard to escape. In those moments, it can feel like hope is out of reach—but that doesn’t mean it’s gone.

Your thoughts are powerful, but they are not always facts. It’s okay to question them, to pause, and to remind yourself that feelings can pass and things can change. Even on the hardest days, there is still space for light, healing, and new beginnings.

Take things one moment at a time. Breathe. Ground yourself. Reach out if you need support—you don’t have to carry it all alone.

🌸Monday motivation: National Women's Health Week Part 1

It is an act of self respect and allows you to live life to the fullest. Taking care of yourself reinforces that you value your body and your well-being. It builds confidence from the inside out. It helps build healthy habits that reduce the risk of many conditions and help catch issues early, giving you more quality years.

🧠Thursday Tips: Children’s Mental Health Matters

Children’s mental health is often overlooked, yet it plays a vital role in their overall development and well-being.

Little minds carry big feelings, and they deserve to be seen, heard, and supported. Early care and understanding can shape a child’s confidence, resilience, and future. Children experience real emotions that can impact how they think, learn, and interact with the world around them. Big feelings in little bodies can sometimes show up as irritability, withdrawal, trouble sleeping, or changes in behavior at home or school.

Supporting a child’s mental health starts with understanding. Creating a safe and open environment where children feel heard, validated, and supported can make a lasting difference. When kids know their feelings matter, they’re more likely to express themselves and build healthy coping skills. Let’s create safe spaces where kids feel okay to express, heal, and grow.

💚Monday Motivation: May is Mental Health Awareness Month

We at Living Purpose are so excited for Mental Health Awareness Month. It is a time dedicated to breaking stigma, raising awareness, and supporting mental well-being for everyone. Mental Health Awareness Month serves as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health and that conversations, education, and compassion can truly make a difference.

To kick it off here is a gentle reminder! You don’t have to have it all figured out to be worthy. You can be healing, growing, learning, and still be a masterpiece at the same time.

It’s okay to check in with yourself, to pause, to feel, and to prioritize your well-being. It’s okay to reach out, to ask for help, and to talk things through. There is strength in vulnerability, and you are never alone in what you’re going through.

Throughout this month, let’s continue to uplift one another, share resources, and create safe spaces where mental health is openly talked about and supported.

💡 Thursday Tips: Managing Anxiety: Simple Ways to Support Yourself

Managing anxiety isn’t about eliminating it completely—it’s about learning how to support yourself through it. Small, consistent habits can make a big difference in how you feel day to day.

With the right tools, support, and self-compassion, anxiety can be managed. You can learn to understand your triggers, regulate your responses, and create space for calm and confidence to grow.

In fact, building a support system reminds you that you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether it’s friends, family, or a trusted community, connection can be grounding. Practicing breathing exercises can help calm your body in moments of stress, while paying attention to your triggers can help you better understand your patterns.

Taking care of your body matters too. Limiting caffeine, getting enough sleep, and incorporating regular movement into your routine can all support a more balanced nervous system. These aren’t quick fixes—but they are powerful tools over time.
And when things feel heavier than you can manage on your own, reaching out for help is a strong and important step. There are resources, professionals, and communities ready to support you.
