Being postpartum doulas allows us to help families find more time for things that are essential in the first few weeks of their 'New Normal', like:
- rest
- eat nutritious food
- hydrate
- have a long shower
- connect with their partner/co-parent

Win-win, because we can hold these precious little beings during these times 💗

This work is challenging, powerful, and gut wrenchingly beautiful. Exhausting and rejuvenating at once. I am forever in awe of birthing people and their immeasurable bravery.
