Last week, our Executive Director Damian and Director of Development Lexy brought APF to Westchester Wednesday at the Westchester Children's Museum!

Through storytime and hands-on crafts, young children and their families explored mindfulness, breathing, and the importance of being kind to themselves and to others 💛

Everyone deserves access to mental health care! In 2024, children, adults, families, and students who often face barriers to care received deeply discounted therapy services through our partners at Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants (CBC), with out-of-pocket costs as low as $20 per session. Through our partnership with CBC, 292 therapy sessions were made affordable and accessible to those in need, helping individuals better manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

At Access Psychology Foundation, we are committed to increasing access to evidence-based mental health treatment and professional training for marginalized communities. Unfortunately, many students of color and youth in underserved areas are facing a growing barrier due to federal mental health cuts reducing access to trauma-informed care and resilience programs, which are critical for their emotional well-being and development.
