7/11 breathing is a simple, effective relaxation technique that helps calm the body and mind by focusing on longer exhales. It’s often used to ease stress, anxiety, or tension. Follow these steps to incorporate 7/11 breathing into your routine:

1) Inhale gently through your nose for a count of 7

2) Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 11

3) Repeat for several rounds

Next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, try a few minutes of 7/11 breathing to activate your body’s relaxation response, slow your heart rate, and ground you in the present moment.
