The HIV/PrEP Programs at the Charles County Department of Health are proud to announce that they will be hosting their 3rd Annual LGBTQIA+ Pride Festival on Saturday, May 31sh, 2025, from 12pm-5pm. All members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their loved ones, and allies are invited to attend this family-friendly event that will celebrate our diverse and valued community. This festival will include entertainment, guest speakers, community resources, food trucks, vendors, and a special pride walk!

The HIV/PrEP programs at the Charles County Department of Health support diversity and inclusion in our community and are hosting PrEP4Pride on May 31st. We are hosting this health and wellness festival to bring awareness to LGBTQIA+ and HIV-related stigma and discrimination that prevent people from accessing the care and support services they may need. We look forward to engaging with the community to expand and facilitate access to health department services and other community resources aimed at improving the health and wellness of our residents.

Admission is FREE!

🌍❤️ Join us in honoring World AIDS Day on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, at the Charles County Department of Health!

🕗 Free Walk-In Rapid HIV Testing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
🎨 Quilt Making Drop-In: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🌟 Celebration of Life: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

📌 Come together to design a quilt square to:
✨ Celebrate living well with HIV
✨ Remember loved ones
✨ Pledge to end stigma
✨ Work towards ending HIV

Supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own creativity! Let's reflect, honor those we've lost, and celebrate our progress toward ending HIV.

Refreshments and information will be available, courtesy of Gilead Sciences and the Tri-County MD Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
