We are a group of top-notch teachers and counselors who have spent more time than we should probably admit on the SAT, ACT, Subject Tests, the Common Application, college essays, and college lists. You name it, we've helped students with it. We are a well-rounded, diverse, and experienced group of test prep and college admissions professionals. We encounter students and fam
ilies during a crucial moment in life – one often full of stress and even (let’s be honest) a bit of panic. If it is possible to be both laid back and incredibly serious – that’s us. We know what we are doing and we know that it works. We have all spent countless hours one-on-one with students and families much like yours. When you work with Breakaway Prep, the future will retain its sense of possibility. We want to make sure the college admissions experience is a positive one--from test prep to building a great list to making a final college choice. We think that the process looks different for every student. Some students will want to focus on test prep, while others will just want help with their application essays. Some families want help with each step. We've helped our students gain acceptance to schools nationwide, from prestigious "name brand" schools to large state universities to small "hidden gems" that might be unfamiliar to you. Our mission is to help families see their options clearly (and there are a lot of options!); answer questions (and there are a lot of questions); and make the best possible decisions along the way (and believe it or not, there are many beyond "where should I go to college?").
