🤔 For baby teeth with extensive decay or after a "baby root canal" (pulpotomy), crowns are a fantastic solution to protect and save the tooth! But which type is best?
🌟 Stainless Steel Crowns:Incredibly strong! Perfect for back molars where chewing forces are highest.
🌟 "White" Crowns: beautiful, natural look for visible teeth! Made from strong materials like Zirconia, they offer great protection
Both are durable, long-lasting & protect smiles until adult teeth arrive!
👉 Our Board-Certified Pediatric Dentists will help you choose the perfect fit for your child's needs.

Pulpotomy, also often called a "baby root canal" helps remove damaged pulp to save a severely decayed baby tooth!
Here’s your simple healing guide after a pulpotomy:
🚫 Do NOT let your child eat until the numbing anesthetic is completely gone (preventing accidental biting!).
🥣 Stick to soft foods for a few days and chew on the opposite side.
💊 Use OTC pain medication for any mild discomfort.
🪥 Continue brushing/flossing gently around the tooth.
➡️ Saving baby teeth is vital for speech and spacing! Contact us to schedule a consultation today!

Does your child grind their teeth while sleeping?
It's common, but over time, bruxism can cause premature wear and even serious jaw issues like TMJ/TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder)! 😬
The best solution is a custom-fitted Nightguard. Made of durable plastic, it prevents tooth-to-tooth contact, preserving their enamel and alleviating premature tooth loss.
Don't let grinding damage their precious smile! Contact us today to discuss a custom night guard for your child!

🥇Establish the habit of brushing twice a day for your child is the gold standard!
It might seem like a simple daily routine, but brushing in the morning and at night right before bed is the single most important defense against cavities and plaque. Missing even one session gives sugar bugs a free pass!
Establishing this habit early is key to achieving lifetime oral health 🏆

Watch your child's smile grow! Knowing the baby teeth timeline helps you understand those exciting milestones:
✔️6-12 months: First top & bottom front teeth typically emerge.
✔️9-16 months: Side incisors (next to the front teeth) start coming in.
✔️13-19 months: First molars arrive, time for some chewing!
✔️18-24 months: Canines (eye teeth) fill in the gaps.
✔️23-33 months: Second molars complete the set of 20 baby teeth! 🎉
✔️Around age 6: Kids usually start losing their first baby teeth (front bottom ones first!).
✔️Up to age 12: The last baby teeth typically fall out as permanent teeth replace them.
Regular check-ups every 6 months are crucial to ensure healthy development and a smooth transition to permanent teeth. Schedule their next routine visit with us today!

🧚♀️Most kids start losing baby teeth around age 6, and this exciting process continues until around age 12. It’s a natural process, but gentle care is key!
➡️ Encourage your child to gently wiggle the tooth with their fingers, but no yanking! It will fall out when it's ready.
➡️ Ensure good oral hygiene around the loose tooth and where new permanent teeth are emerging.
➡️ Offer soft foods if your child experiences discomfort.
Our team is here to guide you through every stage of your child's dental development! Regular check-ups are crucial to ensure new permanent teeth come in healthy and strong👇
