This year, for Asthma and Lead Awareness month, we will hold two story time gatherings at two Charles County Public Library. Join us on Thursday, May 28th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the LaPlata Branch Charles County Public Library for storytime to learn more about asthma and lead prevention. The Dr. Chinnadurai Devadason School-Based Health Center is now open and accepting applications for all students in Charles County Public Schools. The clinic is located at 4202 Indian Head Highway, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and accepts walk-ins or scheduled appointments.

Health Services We Provide

• Sick visits for minor illnesses like colds, flu, or infections
• Physicals for school, sports, and other activities
• Well-check visits to monitor general health and development
• Health education to support healthy habits and decision-making

To enroll your child(ren), simply fill out the enrollment packet provided and return it to the school nurse at your school or complete it online at https://charlescountyhealth.org/school-based-health-clinic/.
