Repair Recover Restore was founded with the belief that getting athletes of all varieties back to doing their activity is what they deserve. Healthcare quality is at an all-time low and with many patients simply trading co-pays for pain killers they still simply cannot enjoy all the things they love. Our goal is to not just to remove pain but get our patients back to an active lifestyle without the fear of injury or needing more pain killers just to get them through the day. When those low back, knee and shoulder pains creep into our lives it’s very easy to think it will “go away on its own” and rest. But these problems mostly don’t just arise out of nowhere. Without proper care these problems never truly resolve. We want our patients to know we have their best interests at heart. We value their time because it’s the move valuable resource we all have. We see ourselves as a resource for the community to stay healthy and continue to perform at their highest level in whatever activity they love.

🚶Incline walking VS 🏃‍♀️Running…which is better?
The answer is…it depends!
Incline Walking keeps you in a moderate, steady heart rate zone. Because the intensity is lower, your body relies more heavily on fat as a fuel source during the session itself. You also get:
• Lower joint impact
• Strong glute & posterior chain work
• Sustain longer sessions with less fatigue • Faster recovery between workouts
It’s a great tool for building an aerobic base, improving metabolic efficiency and increasing total calorie burn without overtaxing your nervous system.

Jogging, on the other hand, elevates heart rate higher. This shifts fuel use more toward carbohydrates during the workout, but it creates a stronger stimulus for:
• Increasing VO₂ max
• Raising lactate threshold
• Enhancing running economy and cardiovascular capacity
In short, Walking on an incline is great for optimizing fat loss during a workout with a lower working heart rate, while jogging is better suited to improve your VO2 max and overall heart health!
