Bernstein Center for Visual Performance

Bernstein Center for Visual Performance Serving White Plains, NY and surrounding areas in NY, CT and NJ.

A behavioral and developmental optometry practice providing comprehensive visual evaluations and vision therapy to diagnose and treat a range of vision problems. A Behavioral Optometrist is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of visual dysfunctions that can affect everyday living – education, work, reading, athletic performance, and depth perception. These dysfunctions include eye aiming, coordination, teaming (binocularity), focusing, and eye movement control as well as hand-eye coordination, visual-motor integration and visual-perceptual development. You may have been told that you or your child has 20/20 acuity and healthy eyes, but in most eye exams or vision screenings the aforementioned skills are never tested. Additionally, a concussion, stroke, or other TBI can exacerbate underlying visual symptoms causing pain, frustration, and delays in recovery.
