We had a great January meeting, where we welcomed Ari Wilkins, FTxSGS, to hear her presentation regarding Enslavement in the North and Gradual Emancipation. It was a wonderful presentation! During the conversation afterward, the Debra Bruno book "A Hudson Valley Reckoning Discovering the Forgotten History of Slaveholding in my Dutch American Family" was mentioned. It turns out that our friends at the The New York Genealogical & Biographical Society - NYG&B are having a free talk on this on March 2! Registration details are available on their website.

Join us for a look at A Hudson Valley Reckoning: Discovering the Forgotten History of Slaveholding in My Dutch American Family.
