🌟 Meet The New Administrator, George Okyere, LNFA – a husband, father of twins, and passionate Long-Term Care leader at Westside Campus of Care. Originally from Ghana, George moved to the US in 2009, and while he loves his new home, he still misses the food and culture of Ghana. But like many, he’s developed a love for brisket, steak, and potatoes here in America!

George’s journey into Long-Term Care began after witnessing the mistreatment of nursing home residents while visiting friends in Pennsylvania and New York. Determined to make a change, he dedicated himself to ensuring every resident receives the love and care they deserve.

At Westside, George goes above and beyond, making sure no resident feels alone, especially those without visitors. His team has created a family-like environment where residents and staff feel safe and valued. George’s motto is “people before anything,” and he leads by example, fostering a culture of respect, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.

Looking ahead, George is excited about new improvements, including building renovations and a new hairstylist for the residents, as well as the success of his employee incentive program. His residents adore him, praising his energy and dedication.

🧠 George’s advice to others in Long-Term Care? “We will all need help one day. Whatever decisions you make, show love, put a smile on someone’s face, and make a positive impact.”
