If you have not read this story yet, PLEASE take a few moments to read about this poor mom and daughter who were separated, to no fault of her own but due to a flawed judicial system specifically family court. The biggest injustice in this situation is hazel not being with her mom, and basically strangers to hazel; not having the the knowledge to care for her properly, regarding the specialized care she requires daily. The system had no intention of doing what was best for hazel.

Hi friends!!! It’s Celina - Elizabeth’s friend and the maker of this gofundme. Mamas, grandmas, women, protective men. Im begging you to read my friend Elizabeth’s story and share. Those of us who know how f*cked the court system is. This is real. The family court system not so secretly operates on money, and parental “rights” - not children’s best interest. I worked in Child Welfare and can assure you that this is not due to any safety concerns for Elizabeth’s parenting, only an abuser abusing a flawed court system. Approximately 2 weeks ago Elizabeth texted me that Hazel was being taken by Hazel’s father. He had traveled from Minnesota with a court order. Elizabeth experienced domestic violence by Hazel’s father and had left to Oregon when Hazel was an infant to be closer to family. Hazel’s father has never assisted in financially caring for her, and only used financial and familial ties to abuse the court system. He has now taken his daughter from the only caretaker she ever knew, and forced her to wean from breastfeeding suddenly. Elizabeth has only been allowed a few minutes of video calls. Hazel’s hair has been cut. Funds will be used for Elizabeth to travel to Hazel, continue to pay her attorney, and possibly relocate if necessary. Please share, it’s time for change.
