This season is about connection — and one of the simplest, most powerful ways to give back is by helping feed our neighbors right here in the Flathead Valley.

When you donate to a local food drive, you’re doing more than filling pantries — you’re strengthening our community. You’re helping families gather around their tables, supporting kids who need a steady meal, and reminding those in hard times that they’re not alone.

✨ Bring non-perishable food items to both studios this month.

This year’s Yoga Teacher Training group just wrapped up weekend two of Yoga Foundations and Philosophy—and wow, this group is SO in it! I’m excited to share a glimpse into what we’ve been exploring in the YTT room.

We’ve been diving deep into The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, one of the pillars of yoga philosophy. The Sutras are divided into four “books” and 196 short lessons on how to practice yoga—not just on the mat, but in how we live and think. At its core, this text is a guide to understanding and working with the mind—our wonderfully complex, often restless companion. It shows us how to create peace, harmony, and ultimately awakening in our lives.
In the second book, we meet the Eight Limbs of Yoga—the roadmap for life that includes the Yamas and Niyamas, Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation.

Yamas are five principles for living in harmony with the world: Ahimsa (non-harming), Satya (truthfulness), Asteya(non-stealing), Brahmacharya (right use of energy), and Aparigraha (non-grasping).Niyamas guide how we relate to ourselves: Saucha (purity), Santosha (contentment), Tapas (discipline), Svadhyaya(self-study), and Ishvara Pranidhana (surrender and trust).
We are also exploring the Koshas, or five layers of our being—from the physical body to the energetic, mental, wisdom, and bliss layers—each one offering a pathway inward toward our truest self, the part of us that is pure awareness and joy.

This group has already practice-taught countless sun salutations, meditation, and pranayama, while also committing to their own home practice. The conversations around philosophy, mantra, and self-study have been rich and inspiring.

It’s the stuff my dreams are made of to share this journey with Chrissy, Anna, and this incredible sangha—lifting each other up and deepening our lives through the healing practice of yoga.

✨Meet our Kalispell teacher spotlight this month -> Selina Harris! Her fresh and unique flows are something you really shouldn’t miss! Catch her $5 Vinyasa in Kalispell Mondays at 7pm! ✨

✨This was my first time taking a class from Selina. I loved that the poses and sequencing she chose felt fresh and unique. Sometimes vinyasa classes can feel repetitive and formulaic, but not this one! I’ll look forward to taking more classes with Selina.

In Pilates 101, you’ll learn the core biomechanical principles of STOTT Pilates®—including breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular movement & stability, head cervical placement, and the lower extremities placement. These six principles are the foundation for moving safely and effectively in any Pilates class.

Whether you’re brand new or looking to refine your technique, this workshop will give you the tools to feel confident, connected, and in control of your body. Perfect preparation for joining group mat or equipment classes!
