Hi Friends! We have a fun class adjustment for you.
has been teaching RESTORATIVE YOGA on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in WF the last few months and it’s been lovely but we thought a pivot to Thursdays at 7pm would be more enjoyable. She will also be adding some very cozy elements SO we hope you give this class a chance. We promise you will have the best sleep!

The Buddha said, “my practice is the practice of non-practice”. Rest is essential for human health. Even in sleep, we can be restless. The practice of rest takes practice. Restorative yoga is not about stretching; it’s about resting. During this practice, we will utilize blankets, bolsters, blocks and optional eye masks to position our bodies in ways that facilitate rest and relaxation. Dress comfortably to be most cozy (even socks if you’d like!). This class is the perfect Apres-ski! Apres-bike! Apres-work!

Hi, Love family! 

While most of you might know me as a Love teacher, I am also a proud board member of Land to Hand, an organization that hosts food access and education programs that all work toward our mission: building a strong community food system that fosters socially just ways of accessing food.

As a dietitian, I believe that food is medicine, yet this is only a reality if we have access to nutrient-dense food. Land to Hand supports children, families, and seniors by providing affordable access to local produce at prices that also support our local farmers. Nothing feels better than witnessing the excitement of a family that comes to double their SNAP dollars at the farmers market and walks away with a fresh veggie haul! We believe in educating our community and the next generation about gardening, food storage, and cooking, helping us all become better stewards of the land while learning how to keep and prepare nutritious foods. 

This year, we are excited to participate in the Whitefish Community Foundation’s Great Fish Community Challenge, and we need your support more than ever! Our goal is to raise $250,000 by September 12th, and every contribution, no matter the size, gets us closer to our target. Your donation will directly support our programs and help us continue our vital work in the community.

Community: a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

Mand here! I was stopped in my tracks this morning watching these beautiful women catch up after class. They are from different walks and journeys and always seem to find each other here! I’ve seen it happen so much at LOVE- finding friends, lovers, hiking partners, cold plunge buddies! It feeds my heart and I hope it feeds yours! Thanks for being here! We feel COMMUNITY everyday. 🙏💓🥰

We have a special guest offering a Koshas Journey coming up! She is in town for a short time so we are lucky to have her!!

Join Lindsay Berman for a movement-based journey through the five koshas — the ancient yogic wisdom theory that tells us we are made up of 5 distinct, but deeply interconnected layers. We can better understand yoga, and our connection with self, through understanding how these layers intersect and ultimately bring us back into connection with our true nature: bliss.

Through grounding practices, an accessible introduction to the 5 Kosha theory, a special Kosha’s flow, and reflective journaling, you’ll explore your layers with a greater sense of joy and awareness.

Expect to:
Leave feeling more balanced, connected, and in touch with your bliss layer
Understand how to apply Kosha’s theory to your yoga practice and everyday life
Move mindfully through an all-levels flow
Connect with your inner wisdom through journaling

This workshop is open to all levels — no prior experience with the koshas is needed. Come curious, and leave inspired.

Hey Savasana Skippers!

Savasana directly translates to co**se (sava) pose (asana). This is the final posture of the mat practice and is arguably the most important! This pose allows the body and mind to integrate all the work that was done throughout the class. It also acts as a pause or space (ākāśa) between your practice and your day. It’s a sweet full body exhale and a reminder of the sacredness of stillness. Metaphorically, it symbolizes the death of the you that walked in the studio and the rebirth of the you that walks out.

We’d love for you to stay for savasana, but we understand if you have other commitments. We’re glad you’re able to come to class — even if you need to leave a little early! If you can’t stay for the full class, please exit as the class transitions to savasana versus in the middle of savasana. If you know you’re leaving early and would like to have a mini savasana, please make your way there as the rest of the class takes final poses. You can leave all of your props for the instructor to clean. Quietly exit the practice space and go slay the day! Your quiet and mindful exit allows other students to have a peaceful savasana. 🤍🙏
