Interfaith Minister. ❤️ I Love You! Hi, I'm Bess Hutt, owner & founder of Gaia's Daughter. I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher, energy worker, herbalist, gardener, artisan, certified sound practitioner, Native American style flutist, handpan player, forest singer, crystal & rock collector, tree hugger, ordained minister, and much more! My soul purpose is to help heal our world, one beautiful being at a time. This part of my journey started in 2010, with attempts to heal myself after years of shoving away trauma, and while severe Lyme disease wreaked havoc on my body and mind. Ultimately, this opened my eyes to the innate healing ability that is inside each of us. I learned & accepted that healing one's mind, body, & soul is an ongoing, lifelong journey. In early 2021, I was blessed with incredible & intense in-person Reiki training in Baltimore, MD, in multiple traditions. This included over 40 hours of learning & practicing! I was attuned to Usui Reiki Level III, Reiki Master Teacher (RMT), and Level 5 Practitioner of Right Hand Path Reiki, by Sensei Rayburn. She taught me many amazing things, including how to trust my intuition and trust my journey. It was an honor to be her student. I am now additionally certified as Reiki Master Teacher (RMT), in the traditions of Crystal Reiki & Kundalini Reiki. I'm also an Animal Reiki Master and 9th Degree Grandmaster of Right Hand Path Reiki, and currently a Level II practitioner of Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki. I sing & play music for the Earth, and channel sounds & songs in the forest. I've been playing Native American flutes for over 15 years, and singing my whole life. Over the years, I've added some Tibetan singing bowls, shaman style frame drum, tongue drum, handpan, and crystal singing bowls, rainstick & rattles, among other various handmade and natural sound elements. I started channeling Reiki before and during playing & singing, to infuse the sounds with Reiki for the greatest good. I now offer sound journeys as part of Reiki Circles, New Moon Circles, and other holistic & collaborative events... as well as in-person & distant Reiki sessions, animal Reiki, individual & group sound baths/journeys, custom private events & more! In my spare time, I'm an herbalist & gardener! I've been gardening since I was small, helping in my parents' vast gardens. Working with plants is part of my spiritual practice & allows me to connect with the land & the cycle of life. In my gardens, I cultivate many varieties of edible & medicinal plants. I also forage & sustainably wild harvest plants in my local area. With these plants, I create herbal tinctures, oil extracts, flower essences, and tea & smoke blends. I’m glad you’re here! Namaste.
