New for the IMD! The IMD "Gotcha" Employee Recognition program!

In March 2026, the IMD Staff Appreciation Team began a new program called, "Gotcha." This program is for staff to recognize their fellow co-workers when they do things that go above and beyond their typical job duties. When staff catch someone who deserves a little recognition, they can fill out a "Gotcha" slip. At the beginning of the next month (on or around the 1st of the month), all slips will be reviewed and a winner will be determined and provided a special "prize" that may vary from month to month for being our "Gotcha Employee of the Month."

We hope that this program will encourage positivity, appreciation, and showcase the amazing things our staff do every day.

We had a successful March with staff participation and hope to see more and more put on the wall each month.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YANESSA PERELES for being chosen as our March 2026 "Gotcha Employee of the Month!"

As we wrap up our celebration of “National Social Worker Month”, we took a moment to again recognize how blessed and thankful we are to have someone as special as Nancy on our Nursing Home Team. She is dedicated, intelligent and hard working. She goes above and beyond for the residents, family members and her co-workers. Most importantly she truly cares for all and wants to make a difference. And, she does that every day! Thank you, Nancy for your awesomeness!

Come see us at the Arcadia Job Fair today! We’ll be at the Wanek Center until 3 PM.

We’ve already had a great turnout from students in Arcadia, Blair, and Whitehall, and we’re looking forward to connecting with Independence students later this afternoon.

It’s been a pleasure visiting with so many local students and sharing the programs and opportunities available at TCHCC. We truly have some amazing young people in our community!

Yesterday, a group of Trempealeau Valley Youth Apprenticeship students traveled to the Wisconsin State Capitol to participate in YA Day at the Capitol. Students met with legislative offices to share their YA experiences and highlight the importance of work-based learning in our schools.

These students did an outstanding job representing their schools, their employers, our program, and Western Wisconsin. We’re proud of the way they advocated for Youth Apprenticeship and career-connected learning! 👏

Attending students from Blair-Taylor School District, Whitehall School District, and Independence Public School included
Ashton Hanson (Ashley Furniture Industries), Deacon Steig (Waumandee State Bank), Karter Kindschy (Ashley Furniture Industries), Taylor Sylla (Trempealeau County Health Care Center), and Chase Back (R.J. Jurowski Construction).
