WAYA Board Member Election – Voting Opens TODAY! 🚨

We have two board seats up for election:

Jake Paulson is seeking re‑election
John Buckwalter is running for the open seat

(Write‑in candidates are also welcome!)

✅ Who can vote?
WAYA members who have paid dues for the 2024–2025 or 2025–2026 seasons

🗓 When & Where to Vote:
📍 July 21–24: During Summer School hours in the Main Office
📍 July 27: 5:30–5:45 PM in the Elementary Commons (just before the Annual Meeting)

(Officer roles will be selected by board members following the Annual Meeting.)

The WAYA Board helps oversee sports like:
🏈🏐 Flag Football & Volleyball (Fall)
🏀 Basketball (Winter)
⚾ 🥎T‑ball, Softball & Baseball (Spring)

Providing positive athletic opportunities and experiences for area youth and families!

WAYA Annual Meeting & Board Election Info! 🗳️

Mark your calendars! The WAYA Annual Meeting will be held Sunday, July 27th at 6:00 PM in the Whitehall School Commons.

We’re also kicking off our Board Member Election! There are 2 seats open—one current member is seeking re-election, and we’re looking for one more!

✅ Interested in running?
If you’re a current WAYA member (2024–2025 or 2025–2026), email us at 📧 waya.wisconsin@gmail.com by July 18th to get your name on the ballot. Board terms are 3 years with the chance to run again.

🗳️ Voting times:
July 21–24 during summer school hours in the main office
July 27 from 5:30–5:45 PM in the Elementary Commons (right before the meeting)

⚠️ Note: Officer roles (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer) are chosen by the board after the meeting.

🌟 About the WAYA Board:
We’re a 12-member board (including 4 officers + 2 program coordinators) who meet monthly to shape and support our youth sports programs.

🏈⚾️🏀🥎🏐 Current WAYA Sports:
Fall: Flag Football (1–6), Volleyball (3–6)
Winter: Basketball (3–6)
Spring: T-ball, Softball & Baseball (4K–8)

Serving on the board is a rewarding way to make a difference and support our mission: “Providing positive athletic opportunities and experiences for area youth and families!”

Fun night at the La Crosse Loggers Baseball Club game with our WAYA 10U boys! They got to head out on the field for the high-five line — such a cool experience. Big thanks to the Loggers for giving our players and coaches free tickets. Great memories made! ⚾️

From unlocking and setting up for each game, to closing things down after the final pitch, you made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes.
