Happy Birthday Dominic Gentile. Not one day goes by over the last 3 years that I don’t think of you and miss you so much. Our relationship was truly special and had such depth that only a few will ever understand. As I sit here and reflect on all our stories and memories as there are so many I am always drawn to one story that makes me smile, emotional and at a lose for words. I will always remember when you were living off campus at Rutgers with your friends and you would come here to do your laundry. So one day I asked you if you had a washer and dryer at the house. You answered me yes of course. So I asked you then why do you come here to do your laundry. You looked at me with that sheepish grin and said to me because I want to spend time with you and walked away. Such a special powerful and emotional moment in time standing in the kitchen that I will never forget. Not only did you touch my heart but the depth of that moment warmed my soul. I love you D and miss you everyday. Love Mr. Fromme.

Happy birthday Dad! I miss you so much every day. Honestly it never gets easier. I miss our life talks as you shared your wisdom and guidance with me as the journey through life is never just a walk in the park. It is during these times of my life when I am facing challenges and really hurting inside that I wish I could just hear your voice to know everything will be ok and great things are coming but it will take time. Since I can’t hear your voice I will lean on my faith and the readings of my scriptures daily that you taught me to do when you need to reach down inside yourself to find the answers to life challenges.
As I told mommy the other day I never truly never understood what it meant when people would come up to me and say to me if it was not for your Dad……I now understand what that meant. You were just always helping people to make a positive difference in their lives. You were not looking for any recognition but rather it brought you joy and happiness knowing that you could. Probably one of the best life lessons you ever taught me. Just be kind and thoughtful to everyone you meet and help those who may need some help and guidance in their lives. This picture popped on my phone yesterday and how appropriate our road trip to Notre Dame for a game standing in front of touchdown Jesus. I guess you wanted to tell me something about keeping the faith and remain positive as I move forward. In addition as you told me whenever I need motivation to go watch some professional football hall of fame speeches as a lot of players faced a lot challenges growing up but pushed through those challenges to become one of the greatest to ever play the game of football so anything is possible in life.
I miss the talks Dad. I miss you. Love your Son.

We have been so blessed to have a wonderful 5 day vacation to celebrate Judith RF 50th birthday. Deciding on the right gift was important so I wanted to make sure my gift was very symbolic and would forever have meaning. So I decided on a pearl necklace as they symbolize love, purity, wisdom and enduring beauty. However this pearl necklace is very special as it was my grandmother’s necklace that she purchased 80 years ago. I was very close with my grandmother so this
necklace has a very special meaning and place in my heart. Knowing that I was able to give Judith this family heirloom so that she can wear it knowing what it symbolizes and means to me as well some day she will be able to share with her daughters and their children is priceless. I am truly blessed and fortunate to be able to share such a beautiful piece of legacy jewelry.

Nuclear Stress Test tomorrow morning. No caffeine for 24 hours. UGH! My morning routine is so off just drinking water. But I will be hydrated!

So I decided on my walk today to walk through the Revolutionary War Memorial on the corner of Rt 22 and 523 and pay homage. I am history buff so it was definitely a great experience. Reading some of the memorials was so interesting to me. The one Memorial mentioned how the soldier built the first Whitehouse in Whitehouse Station for his meeting with George Washington. As I looked around I could not stop thinking about all of the people that stood on these grounds before me. It definitely made the walk home more thoughtful and enjoyable thinking about my experience. We love history right Nick Gentile!
