Well, we have a house chicken now. Our beautiful Haven, who wears a chicken bra for a pendulous crop, has busted out of her bra 😂😂😂 and now has sour crop.

If you have chickens, look up pendulous crop. It’s a really difficult thing to treat but I found a lady on Etsy that makes chicken bras that the hen can wear full time without getting irritated and it really solves the problem! The only problem is that with dust bathing and living outside in the sunshine, fabric wears out and that’s what happened here.

We ordered a new bra yesterday and a spare as well, and we should be getting it in a day or two. Meanwhile, I have Haven taking biakal skullcap and I’m massaging her crop so it empties.

Sometimes during these harsh winters you have to go above and beyond and I will do that all day long for my chickens ❤️🐓❤️

This is what procrastination looks like.

It looks like endless cups of herbal tea, a steno pad and a brand new sharpie (out of the box my hubs got me for Christmas - it’s a standard stocking stuffer 😂) and piles and piles of seeds that should have been put away into my seed suitcases last year. Yes I said SUITCASES plural.

It’s a good thing that I still have a lot of seeds leftover and can begin winter sowing on Feb 1st as planned while I wait for other seeds to arrive.

I apologize that these were out of stock for so much of this winter, but y’all can thank my husband for the fact that I made them today! He reminds me at least every other day that he’s on his last lotion bar and it’s almost gone!! Almost the whole time, Tuesday was winning. Then earlier today it was a dead tie. And now, Sunday is winning 😂😂😂 It has been hilarious watching this poll!!

Stacy and I talked earlier today and we decided to do TWO IDENTICAL CLASSES - one on Sunday March 1st and one on Tuesday March 3rd!!! Congratulations, every body wins! 😂😂😂

Stacy is working on a flyer and the website for purchasing tickets right now and we should have that up soon!

BUT FOR NOW, mark your calendars for the above date(s) and let your friends know!! There is limited seating for both dates, so get your tickets quickly when I post the link!!
