"It's that same back pain."
This was her 2nd visit. She had come to see me the first time for a regular massage, and her main complaint was her low back. She mentioned something her previous therapist had done that seemd to help. The probem was, if it truly had helped she wouldn't be still having it right?
"Can I check something?" I asked. She agreed, and a couple of muscle tests and questions later, we had our answer.
A Scar, from a childhood operation over the area of her left psoas, was causing weakness in both of her psoas, abdominal muscles, and a couple of key muscles in her back. One scar, from childhood, was now interfering with an active retirement.
I released the scar, corrected the imbalance, and sent her home with some simple corrections to help reset her pattern and keep her pain-free. NeuroKinetic Therapy for the win.
