SOME hair loss is inevitable from 3-6 mos post op, but if it continues or gets worse, it’s time to get your nutrition in check ☑️

Let me know if you need recs for a vitamin supplement! There’s a million options & can be super overwhelming 🫠

Constipation can be incredibly uncomfortable, but it’s important to remember that you are eating MUCH less than you were before surgery. Less food = less 💩

Regardless, if you’re uncomfortable and bloated, there are a few things you can try:

If you’re not meeting your fluid goals, hitting them can help! If you’re not consistently exercising (walking at the very least), more movement can also be a big help.

Increasing fiber to 15-30g per day can also be helpful, but you must make sure your fiber intake does NOT interfere with your protein intake ‼️ Protein takes priority over other macronutrients, always!!!!

Taking a magnesium supplement before bedtime is great way to help with constipation, muscle cramps, and falling asleep 😴

As always, check with your surgical team before implementing anything new!

Life happens and your eating will never be perfect. As long as balanced and nutritious meals outweigh the indulgent meals, you’re doing great!! It’s all about portion size and frequency 😊
