Our lab in Ocala has gotten busier and busier, so we would like to introduce Taylor Ladner as our new Lab Technician.
Taylor is from a small town called Kiln, Mississippi (fun fact - itโs Brett Farveโs hometown and it only has a current population of about 2,454). She received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Biochemistry with a Spanish minor from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. Her training is primarily in virology and bacteriology with experience in cell culture and some in food science and parasitology. She enjoys reading, playing video games, and scuba diving.
She shares two fur babies of the feline variety with her boyfriend. She came to Viagen for a change of pace where she can combine her love of lab work with her passion for animals, and she found an incredible group of people who are just as passionate.
We are lucky to have a dedicated and hard working teammate like Taylor! We are excited to continue to grow and appreciate having the best staff to keep us going.
