This past year we had the incredible opportunity to ICSI Kittennish for our client Wolf Livestock with the assistance of our Semen Sexing Technology to gender select for only females.

Theorem Ranch, owned by Jason and Kisha Itkin, has once again made a bold play in the Western performance horse world with the acquisition of a filly embryo out of the legendary mare Kittennish.
This purchase represents a big step in the Itkinsโ long-term commitment to strengthening the foundation and future of Western performance horses. It follows their purchase of the $20+ million sire Stevie Rey Von and Theoremโs growing influence across cutting, cow horse, and roping disciplines.

โHorses like her donโt come up for sale very often,โ said Austin Shepard, who has piloted Kittennish to nearly $1 million in lifetime earnings. โA baby out of that mareโitโs unheard of. In my opinion, sheโs the best mare going, and thatโs no reflection on anything Iโve done to make her that way. Thatโs just how God made her.โ
By Hottish and out of the blue-hen producer Show Biz Kitty, Kittennish has earned acclaim for her power, presence, and unparalleled cow senseโtraits that have earned her the nickname โThe Queen.โ

While this particular embryo was sired by Reyzin The Cash, the acquisition has already sparked speculation about future breedingsโparticularly the potential of eventually crossing the filly with Stevie Rey Von, one of the most dominant sires in history.
