In this episode, Andrea spends an hour with Cherie, a Stage 4 metastatic breast Cancer survivor. Together, the two have a heartfelt and transparent discussion regarding Cherie's journey, from the first warning signs and symptoms, to ringing the Victory Bell that signified her transition into remission.

Cherie reflects on her story, and shares lessons learned along the way - those involving creating boundaries, asking for help when needed, and allowing herself to slow down and rest without guilt.

She shares her perspective on the lesser known results of cancer treatment, how she and her partner coped with such news, and most importantly how, against all odds, she beat this aggressive disease with her "I win," attitude.

Happy 2026! 🎉 For Her Podcast’s first episode of the year drops today! 🙌🏼

Every January, millions of people set New Year’s resolutions with the best intentions—only to feel discouraged a few weeks later when those goals start to slip.

In this episode, Andrea takes an honest look at why resolutions are so difficult to stick to in the first place. From unrealistic expectations and all-or-nothing thinking to relying on motivation alone, we explore the common traps that cause even the strongest goals to fade

Andrea ralso breaks down how habits actually form and why small, consistent actions matter more than dramatic changes. Instead of chasing perfection, this episode focuses on practical strategies for making habits easier—like starting small, tying new habits to existing routines, and creating environments that support success. Whether your resolution is about health, productivity, or personal growth, this conversation offers realistic tools to help you build habits that last long after the new year feeling wears off.
This episode is a reminder that change doesn’t have to start big—it just has to start doable.

Then, she shifts into the science of calm. You’ll learn how the parasympathetic nervous system works to restore balance, support digestion, enhance recovery, and promote emotional regulation. Andrea discusses practical, evidence-informed strategies to activate “rest and digest,” including breathwork, grounding techniques, movement, nervous system–friendly habits, and lifestyle practices that signal safety to the body.
