Today, Ally Behavioral Health showed up and showed OUT for the community.

Our amazing case manager Tristy and a group of our clients jumped in to help a small town rebuild after devastating flooding on Main Street… and they didn’t just help… they went ALL IN.

Over 10,000 books moved. 💪📚
All heart. All effort. No hesitation.
100% teamwork, grit, and pride.

And the best part? The way they carried themselves… kind, respectful, hardworking… just incredible. You could feel the impact beyond the work itself.

You ever get so angry you don’t even recognize yourself for a second? 😡

Like it comes out fast… loud… and later you’re sitting there thinking
“why did I react like that?”

Here’s the part nobody really talks about…

Anger is usually not the real feeling.

It’s just the top layer.

Underneath it is where the truth lives…
hurt 💔
fear 😟
sadness 😞
feeling rejected 😔
feeling not good enough 😔

And those feelings are hard to sit with. So the mind protects you… and anger steps in.

But if you never slow down and look underneath, you stay stuck in the same cycle 🔁

In recovery, this is one of the biggest breakthroughs.

When someone pauses and says:
“Hold on… what am I REALLY feeling right now?”

That’s where healing starts.

Real advice, friend to friend 💛👇

Next time you feel anger building: • Pause for a second ⏸️
• Take a breath… even if you don’t want to 🌬️
• Ask yourself: “am I hurt, scared, or just really sad?”
• If you can, say it out loud or write it down 📝
• Give yourself a minute before reacting

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to start noticing. 🩵

That choir came in with confidence, energy, and zero fear — and honestly, that’s what made it great!

Were there high notes?
There were attempts 😅
Was there passion?
A LOT of it 🔥

And that’s what made everybody smile!
