Congratulations to our February Rookie of the Month at Carmel, Katrese Johnson! 🎉

Katrese joined our team several months ago and has already made a fantastic impact on our community as an LPN. She loves working in our small home environment, as it allows her to care for residents more effectively and efficiently while building meaningful connections. Her advice for anyone considering a career in long-term care is to go in with an open heart and a smile, and to focus on making a difference, even if it’s a small one.

Outside of work, Katrese enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with her family. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our team, Katrese!

It’s time to celebrate our February Employee of the Month at our Carmel campus, Kiara Kizart! 👏

Kiara has been caring for our Carmel residents for two years as a CNA. One of her favorite parts of the job is building strong bonds and promoting consistency while caring for just 12 residents. She values the opportunity to truly get to know each individual and provide personalized support every day.

Her advice to those considering a career in long-term care is to embrace the beauty of personal care by building genuine relationships with residents and practicing patience.

Kiara is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Outside of work and school, she enjoys reading, long road trips, and spending time outdoors.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Kiara. We truly appreciate you!

Senior Care Re-imagined

The Restoracy of Whitestown provides a superior living experience and care delivery for residents by offering a home-like setting with the highest patient to care giver ratio in the industry. Most care environments are large, institutional facilities that house 100-150 residents, with long hallways, unfamiliar sounds, and systems that focus on efficiency rather than personalization.

The Restoracy is re-imagined to overhaul the traditional model by offering a home-like setting where residents have their own private room, common living area and kitchen/dining area where hot meals are served from the dinner table, just like at home. Each of our six homes is specialized for care in either rehabilitation, long term care or memory care. Staff training and care delivery systems differ from home to home to best meet each residents’ needs.
