A quaint group of us traveled over to Newfield's last Thursday to look around and have lunch. We were especially impressed with the older paintings and the gardens. We will probably plan another trip for the fall, when the colors are at their peak!! Did you know, Newfields offers free general admission on the first Thursday of every month?? (You're welcome!😉)

Our Bible study group held their Seder supper in the Activity Room this year, as their group has outgrown the library.
The rituals and symbols of the Seder teach us about freedom, gratitude, and looking forward with faith. Each element on the table tells a story worth sharing and remembering.

Time to GET FIT!! Did you know our exercise class meets 6 days a week at 9:30 in the Activity Room on the 3rd floor? Residents have the option to sit and exercise, or stand. We have weights available for those who chose to use them. Why not start this month and get ready for spring and summer!?!?!

Our Trivia 'winners' for March enjoyed lunch from Noble Romans at our pizza party. Want to join us next month?? Just attend 6 out of 8 trivia activities in April and YOU can join us!! If you have any questions, just see one of these ladies, or check with the Activity Director. We had a a great time at Moontown Pub in 'old' Whitestown last week! Have you been lately? It's such a neat experience and the food is fantastic! Our group enjoyed the pretzel appetizers and everything from wings, to bacon cheeseburgers, to pulled pork bbq and more!
Next week, Mayberry Cafe in Danville---we'll get our fill of Aunt Bee's fried chicken and meatloaf!

Our Resident/Staff birthday part was a hit! One of our residents asked if she could make the birthday cakes for this month...she wished to provide 'favorite' cakes for her friends. We enjoyed a carrot cake with cream cheese icing and a pineapple upside down cake w whipped cream! Years of baking experience and a whole lotta love went in to every slice.
