Johnson Simon fights cerebral palsy with every brushstroke. While his disability may limit him physically, he uses broad, sweeping motions and bright colors to transfer the feeling of movement onto his canvas. "In my artistic work, I can move freely about without limitations. My art is my movement."

On Saturday, June 28 from we will be hosting an exhibition of Simon's work at IIP from 6:00-9:00pm. All are invited.

If you've been in the clinic this week you've surely noticed we have new art! This collection is by the artist Johnson Simon and it has already been a big hit with our patients and staff. Simon states "I especially enjoy watching dancers and athletes, and make a conscious effort to transfer the graceful display of dance and athleticism into my art. The human body is both complicated and elegant, and with the extra component of motion added, it is a vessel unlike any other in this world." While his disability may limit him physically, he uses broad, sweeping motions and bright colors to transfer the feeling of movement onto his canvas. "In my artistic work, I can move freely about without limitations."

We have an awesome opportunity for you to get out and enjoy some Indiana Amputee Soccer!

Amputee Soccer is an adapted sport played with a ball and two crutches, and is only available to people who have experienced limb loss. Men and women of all ages can play!

The cost to play is $50 for the year and practices will be held once or twice a week at the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association at 5616 S 700 E Whitestown, IN 46057

We expect to have our first meeting with everyone interested on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 3-5pm.
