Name: Brandon Grigsby

Official Title: Environmental Health Supervisor

Years in Position: Almost 29 years of dedicated service! 🎉

What I Love About My Job:
1️⃣ The variety of job duties — no one day is ever the same
2️⃣ Engaging with the community and the people I work with

Fun Fact: Brandon loves to play the banjo! 🎶

👩‍🔬 What does Environmental Health do for our community?
Environmental Health professionals help protect public health every day. They:

Inspect restaurants, schools, and childcare facilities for food safety 🍎

Monitor water quality and septic systems 💧

Oversee waste management and vector control 🦟

Educate the community on safe and healthy living practices 🏡

In short, Environmental Health staff work behind the scenes to prevent illness, reduce hazards, and keep our community safe and healthy. 💙

We understand the concern many families are feeling right now due to the government shutdown and the impact it may have on individuals receiving WIC benefits.

👉 As of today, our WIC office remains open and fully operational to serve those who rely on these essential services.

Please know that if there are any changes to WIC services, we will update you immediately with the latest information.

Your health and your family’s well-being remain our top priority.
