Whiteville Family Medical will be closing Thursday February 20, 2025 at 5 pm due to ongoing icy conditions on back roads, we are strongly encouraging our staff and patients to prioritize their safety and drive with caution when heading home. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, August 5th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Sulphur Cemetery.

It is with a broken heart we are sharing our beloved provider, Dr. Dee Blakney, has passed away. She was an outstanding provider and friend to all. She whole heartedly loved her patients and went above and beyond to make sure their needs were met. She drove us crazy but her feisty spirit will continue to be felt and her legacy will live on through the clinic. We could write a book about her impact and impression left on those she encountered. Dr. Dee will be greatly missed. Please keep her family, coworkers, patients and friends in your prayers.
