As an “Essential Business” I want to thank all of our current patients, supply customers, vendors and especially our employees who have all worked together and have been very patient and understanding during this pandemic. And to the new patients whom we’ve met at distance of course.
We’ve done our part to keep the distance; used PPE “like a boss”, mailed out supplies, met customers in the parking lot, delivered supplies onto porches and at front door steps and have dropped tanks at locations for hospital nurses in order for sick patients to come home on.
We’re all having to “work on the fly”, We’ve did our continued teaching and basic equipment checks over the phone and have taken ALL the precautions possibly in insuring everyone’s safety.
Please know that Hometown Medical is actively working with and listening to our local Health Department/LCRHD, local government, local clinicians and Healthcare facilities in order to stay informed of what our advised protocols and mission is to avoid the spread and eventually the defeat of this pandemic. We are prepared and have protocols in place to deliver Oxygen and other deemed “emergent” supplies.

ATTENTION: Medicare recipients, (recipients’ caregivers and family of Medicare recipients ) please do not give any information to anyone that claims they are a representative of Medicare. Medicare will NEVER call you and ask for this information. People are calling our patients pretending to be Medicare and stealing their identities mainly changing their addresses and pay-to information. I hope the people who are doing this will get caught and punishment be to the fullest extent. Thank you!

Our office will be closed Tuesday, July 4th, in observance for Independence Day. Please stop in tomorrow or Monday if you foresee needing extra oxygen tanks or supplies to get you or your loved one through the holiday weekend. Thank you, and have a blessed Independence Day weekend/season.

Those who are on continuos home oxygen or have family members on continuous home oxygen, road conditions in our area are very dangerous and mostly unpassable. Therefore you may want to consider emergency options. If you have a generator, please make sure you test and have ready. If you do not have one you may want to activate the emergency plan and instructions provided to you by your provider. If your a patient of Hometown Medical, and are unaware of what your emergency options are please call 376-1551, and someone will assist and advise you with your emergency plan. Thank You!
