✨ Whittier Counseling Center started the year strong! ✨

We had the privilege of providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) training to an incredible group of leaders from LEARN, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving students across El Monte City School District, El Monte Union High School District, Whittier Union High School District, Rosemead School District, and Pomona Unified School District.

LEARN delivers before- and after-school programs and enrichment opportunities, including no-cost organized sports leagues and educational field trips, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being.

We’re proud to partner with organizations committed to strengthening communities and supporting youth mental health. 💙

✨ This holiday season, remember that your feelings matter. Even if the world feels busy, bright, or overwhelming, you’re not alone in feeling disconnected, lonely, or emotionally drained. Many people quietly carry heavy hearts this time of year, and there’s nothing wrong with you for feeling that way. 🌟 Hope can be gentle. Healing can be slow. Connection can start small. Take moments to breathe, create your own comfort, and reach out when you can. The season doesn’t have to be perfect to have meaning, it just has to be real. You deserve peace, support, and compassion. And you don’t have to navigate this season on your own. 💛
