🌺 Farewell & Mahalo, Branden! 🌺

Today, we say a hui hou (until we meet again) to our incredible Director of Billing and Quality Assurance, Branden Rente. After nearly 3 years of dedicated service, Branden is returning to his homeland of Hawaii to begin a new chapter.

Branden’s leadership, integrity, and heart have left a lasting impact at CAPC. We will miss his spontaneous office singing, sweet updates about his kids, and the warm smile he shared each day that made everyone feel like ‘ohana. Whether he was streamlining systems, mentoring staff, or training our individuals and families, Branden brought light into every space he entered.

Branden, your CAPC family will miss you more than words can say. Wishing you peace, joy, and all the beauty that comes with going home.

🍓🌽 Farmers Market Friday in Uptown Whittier! 🛍️☀️

Every Friday, CAPC individuals and staff head to the Uptown Whittier Farmers Market — not just for the fresh fruits and veggies, but to connect with our local community and valuable resources.

From learning money skills and healthy eating habits to supporting local vendors and practicing independence, the Farmers Market is more than just a shopping trip — it’s a living classroom for inclusion, empowerment, and growth.

Big thanks to the vendors and neighbors who make every Friday feel like a win for community connection! 💙

🖤❤️💚 Honoring Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom 💚❤️🖤

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history marking the end of slavery in the United States on June 19, 1865.

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice. At CAPC, we honor this day by standing in solidarity with Black communities and continuing our commitment to building inclusive, empowered, and equitable spaces for all.

Let today be a reminder that freedom is a right—and inclusion is a responsibility.

Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Supervisor Janice Hahn for her unwavering support and belief in inclusive communities. Her generous $150,000 contribution to CAPC’s Framework for Hope housing initiative is more than a gift—it’s an investment in dignity, independence, and the future of adults with disabilities. Thank you, Supervisor Hahn, for being a true champion of change. 💙 Your leadership is helping us build more than housing—you’re helping us build hope.
