This was not an easy decision by any means.

Home visits are something I have always loved offering because I feel they are so important, but I have been fighting the good fight with Tricare since December 2024.

As most of you know, Texas switched to Triwest January 1st. This meant I needed to get contracted with them so I can continue billing Tricare and ensuring YOU get the 6 free visits you deserve.

All of my information was submitted back in December 2024. I was told I was good to go, yet I haven’t seen a single payment. It’s been almost 9 months of working for free.

I’ve been in contact with several Tricare employees and I’m holding out hope that this will be resolved soon, but in the meantime, to minimize overhead cost for Tricare visits, I cannot do home visits right now.

I know you’re tired, you’re healing, you don’t want to leave home, but I promise to make you extra comfy at the office 🫶🏻

As always, thanks for your support while I keep fighting for your local IBCLCs to be able to provide insurance covered care for you 🖤

This wasn’t the news I wanted to wake up to, but it’s the news we have to work with.

90% of our TLN patients have BCBS. This is devastating and we are not happy at all. Providing quality, insurance covered care is important to us. Hopefully we will see some better news in the future, but for now, our BCBS patients will need to be self pay 😪

If you are expecting and have BCBS, check your coverage NOW to be grandfathered in before the change is in effect.

We will now be located at The Clinics of North Texas in Pediatrics! 🤩

We are so excited to continue to serve the families of Wichita Falls and surrounding communities in our new space. We are even more excited to see where this takes us.
