GUESS WHAT?!

I have FINALLY made some progress with Tricare. What does this mean? I can FINALLY finish submitting all my current 2025 claims!

It's been a long time comin but... we've reached the light at the end of the tunnel! 💃🏻

Home visits are still on hold until payment from Tricare is ironed out, but things are rollin!

If I reach out needing additional info for submitting insurance claims from our visit back in the beginning of the year, it is in fact me, not a scam 😜

This was not an easy decision by any means.

Home visits are something I have always loved offering because I feel they are so important, but I have been fighting the good fight with Tricare since December 2024.

As most of you know, Texas switched to Triwest January 1st. This meant I needed to get contracted with them so I can continue billing Tricare and ensuring YOU get the 6 free visits you deserve.

All of my information was submitted back in December 2024. I was told I was good to go, yet I haven’t seen a single payment. It’s been almost 9 months of working for free.

I’ve been in contact with several Tricare employees and I’m holding out hope that this will be resolved soon, but in the meantime, to minimize overhead cost for Tricare visits, I cannot do home visits right now.

I know you’re tired, you’re healing, you don’t want to leave home, but I promise to make you extra comfy at the office 🫶🏻

As always, thanks for your support while I keep fighting for your local IBCLCs to be able to provide insurance covered care for you 🖤
