United Regional Health Care System

United Regional Health Care System Providing advanced technology, compassionate service, and excellence in health care for the communities we serve.

Though we are the region’s primary healthcare resource, United Regional Health Care System is more than a collection of a hospital and clinics — we are a trusted member of the community, promoting healthier, stronger residents. In addition to providing advanced technology, modern facilities, and expert team members, we’re delivering warm and compassionate care close to home. We also contribute significantly to the community by fostering partnerships, supporting local initiatives, and promoting healthy and thriving residents. United Regional is where our community finds support, strength, and a healthier future.

United Regional recognizes that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest drinking days of the year, and impaired driving crashes increase. Before kickoff, make a plan:
• Choose a designated driver
• Use a ride share
• Stay the night
Never drink and drive. Your loved ones want you home safe after the game.

Our trauma team is always ready — but we’d much rather prevent injuries than treat them. Please plan a sober ride home and remind your friends to do the same. Choosing safety saves lives.

United Regional is proud to celebrate Midwestern State University’s Men’s Soccer Team on their incredible achievement as the new NCAA Division II National Champions. This historic win marks the first national title in program history, and we are excited to join our community in cheering on the Mustangs.

To show our support, balloon arches in MSU’s maroon and gold have been placed by the cafeteria and will remain on display through the celebratory parade this Sunday. United Regional is proud to stand behind our hometown team.

When winter weather swept across our region, more than 110 United Regional team members — including nurses, techs, physicians, nurse practitioners, security officers, and other clinical and support staff — stayed multiple days and nights at the hospital — sleeping in hospital beds, sharing small spaces, and doing whatever it took — to make sure our patients continued to receive the very best care. Their dedication is nothing short of heroic, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!

Our Story

Driven by a passion for healing and an unwavering commitment to excellence, United Regional has touched the lives of the people of Wichita Falls and surrounding areas for nearly 100 years. For us, providing world-class medical care is more than a day's work. It's our life's work. United Regional provides the area's only comprehensive cardiac care facility, and its only Level II trauma center. Virtually every day, the United Regional Care Flight Helicopter can be seen bringing help and hope to those in need. But we don't stop there. At United Regional, we continually seek to further improve community health by investing in life-saving medical equipment, world-class physicians and state-of-the art facilities. To make sure our goals are consistently met, we've set forth five pillars of service: People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth. By applying our energies to these pillars and making them integral to our culture, we're able to deliver excellence in health care for the communities we serve. Excellence which the people of Wichita Falls and the region deserve and can be proud. Because to us, you're not just a patient – you're our neighbor.
