Our mission is to provide care, hope, and support for all when illness threatens life. Hospice of Wichita Falls is the first and only community-based, non-profit hospice serving 12 counties in North Central Texas. We provide hospice care and services in private residences, assisted living facilities, contracted nursing facilities and hospitals and in our W. Erle and Emma White Hospice Inpatient Center.

Cindy lives in Vernon and brings a strong background in healthcare support and a heart for service. After many years supporting her husband’s medical practice, she is now looking forward to getting involved with HOWF. Outside of the board, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandkids. 💜

Hospice of Wichita Falls is looking for a compassionate and organized Bereavement Administrative Assistant to support our Bereavement Team and the families we serve.

This role plays an important part in helping our community through the grief journey by assisting with bereavement mailings, coordinating support groups and memorial events, maintaining documentation, and providing administrative support to our team.

Key Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Compassion and understanding of the grieving process
• Ability to work cooperatively with patients, families, volunteers, and staff
