Meet Ryan 💙

Ryan has been coming to see us since 2024, and watching his growth over the past year and a half has been truly special. When he first arrived, he only had a handful of words and struggled to make himself understood. Today, he’s using 50–60 words and expressing himself more confidently with the help of therapy and his AAC communication device.

As his dad put it, "It’s been such a huge help. Ryan’s made so much progress and the team really knows how to connect with him and push him when he needs it."

Meet Eve — a bright, determined 12-year-old who has been part of the North Texas Rehab Center family since she was just one year old. Living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Eve shows up every day ready to stretch, work, laugh and grow stronger. Through therapy on land and in the water, she’s building stability, confidence and the independence she dreams of — like learning to transfer on her own as she grows.

“The therapists here feel like family,” Eve shares. “They really help you with what you want and what your goal is.”

Meet Ainsley 💙

When Ainsley first came to the Rehab Center, she was experiencing significant upper and lower back pain. We started with land-based therapy, but her mom noticed she was still hurting after each session.

That’s when we made the switch to aquatic therapy—and everything changed. In the pool, Ainsley was able to move with less pain, build strength and actually enjoy therapy. What looked like play—ball games, races and movement—was purposeful therapy, and it worked.

Today, Ainsley is feeling better, missing fewer school days and spending less time in the nurse’s office. Proof that sometimes healing happens best when therapy meets fun. 💦💙

✨ Lift A Life 2025 — David’s Miracle Journey ✨
Last August, David Crosley’s life changed in an instant. After suffering a major stroke, multiple brain surgeries, and even being declared with no brain activity, his wife Leslie was told he would never recover. Heartbroken, she made the impossible decision to prepare for organ donation.

But 36 hours later… David moved his toes. Then gave a thumbs-up. Against every odd, he came back. And their fight for recovery began.

After months in the hospital and long-term care, David found a second home at the North Texas Rehabilitation Center. Through physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy — all working together — David has made extraordinary progress. He can transfer on his own, communicate clearly, help around the house and continues pushing toward his dream of walking and getting back to woodworking.

When insurance ran out, NTRC’s sponsorship program made it possible for David’s therapy to continue. That support protected his progress — and gave the Crosleys what they needed most: hope.

Today, they call NTRC their family. And they want others to know: “Miracles do happen. Don’t give up.”

As a vital part of our team, the Referral Specialist ensures seamless processing and scheduling of physician referrals while providing exceptional customer service to our clients and healthcare partners.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ High school diploma (required)
✅ Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred)
✅ Knowledge of medical terminology, referral and insurance guidelines
✅ Strong computer and communication skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Our Pumpkin Decorating Contest brought out everyone’s creativity, and there were some really cute entries this year! 🧡 From colorful designs to clever themes, it was hard to pick just one favorite!
