🚨 Closed Tomorrow 🚨

Hey friends — due to icy conditions, our parking lots have officially been promoted to ice skating rinks.

And while we are here to rehab people back from injuries… we’d really prefer not to create new patients in the parking lot. 😅

For everyone’s safety, the North Texas Rehabilitation Center will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday). We’ll share updates as soon as we know more. Stay warm, stay safe and please stay off the “black ice treadmill.” 🧊💙

🩷Today, the NTRC crew wore pink in loving memory of Kylie Mills.

As many of you know, Kylie showed extraordinary strength, courage and grace during her battle with brain cancer. For the past two years, she faced challenges no one so young should ever have to endure, yet she did so with remarkable resilience. Kylie’s strength touched many within our community and her spirit left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing her and working alongside her family.

Wearing pink along with our community was a small way to honor her, stand with her family and show that she will not be forgotten. We are keeping Kylie’s loved ones close in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.🩷

Meet Ryan 💙

Ryan has been coming to see us since 2024, and watching his growth over the past year and a half has been truly special. When he first arrived, he only had a handful of words and struggled to make himself understood. Today, he’s using 50–60 words and expressing himself more confidently with the help of therapy and his AAC communication device.

As his dad put it, "It’s been such a huge help. Ryan’s made so much progress and the team really knows how to connect with him and push him when he needs it."

Seeing Ryan’s transformation reminds us why we do what we do. 💙

💙 Lift A Life. One Story. One Heart. One Hope. 💙

Meet Eve — a bright, determined 12-year-old who has been part of the North Texas Rehab Center family since she was just one year old. Living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Eve shows up every day ready to stretch, work, laugh and grow stronger. Through therapy on land and in the water, she’s building stability, confidence and the independence she dreams of — like learning to transfer on her own as she grows.

“The therapists here feel like family,” Eve shares. “They really help you with what you want and what your goal is.”

This is the heart of what we do. 💙

Through our Lift A Life Fundraiser, we’re inviting you to be part of stories like Eve’s. Your donation helps provide compassionate care, loving support and life-changing therapy to children and families who need it most.

🎥 Watch Eve’s story.
