Yesterday’s annual Rehab Auction at the sale barn was nothing short of amazing. The rain has been such a blessing for our area and it sure didn’t slow anyone down—it brought folks out in full force to bid on great items and be part of one of our favorite traditions…buying LUKE the Longhorn!

And let’s talk about those hot pink LUKE caps…Regan took a risk ordering them and they were the FIRST to go! 💖🔥 Safe to say—y’all loved them!

A huge thank you to Andrew and Megan Atchison and their entire staff for all they do to make this event so special. Your dedication and partnership mean the world to us and we couldn’t do it without you! 🩷

🤠And just like that… AUCTION WEEK IS ON! 🐮

We kicked things off in a BIG way yesterday at the Graham Livestock Commission, LLC and WOW… y’all showed UP! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to owners Ronnie and Traci Hardin for taking time out of your weekly sale to support the North Texas Rehabilitation Center. Your generosity and support means more than we can say.

We are beyond grateful to the entire Graham community—and all the buyers and sellers—who came out and made it such a success. Truly blown away by the support. ❤️

We can’t thank the Wichita Livestock Sales Co. LLC enough for all of their support! They are so supportive and amazing for our mission and we hope you will join us on Wednesday, April 22nd!!! 🐮

It’s almost here! Our Annual Rehab Auction with the North Texas Rehabilitation Center will be held this coming Wednesday around lunchtime when we finish up with our cow run. We know lots of you love to come out and see Luke the Longhorn, buy an item out of the auction or donate an animal to sell! So stop by and see us this coming Wednesday April 22nd for this 58 year old tradition. If you are planning to donate an animal just let the guys know when you unload so they write it in under the rehab center, or if you want a donation taken out of your check let us know we can help get it taken care of!

We are so proud of our very own Georgia DuBose for representing NTRC today at the STEM Conference at
Midwestern State University! 👏

Georgia shared her personal journey to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist and gave students a real look into what this rewarding career is all about. From high school sophomores to college students, attendees had the opportunity to explore future paths in STEM—and we love that speech therapy was part of that conversation!

She also highlighted the work we do every day at NTRC, serving individuals across the lifespan and making a difference right here in our community.

Way to inspire the next generation, Georgia! 💙

We are so excited to welcome our newest Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to the North Texas Rehab Center team! 👏💙

At NTRC, pediatric therapy is close to our heart. Our Occupational Therapy team works one-on-one with children to build fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, self-care independence and the confidence they need to thrive at home, in school and in life.

❄️ Delayed Opening Notice ❄️

For the safety of our team and clients, the North Texas Rehabilitation Center and the Wellness Center will open at 10:00 AM tomorrow (Friday, January 30).

Thankfully the ice is melting, but we want everyone to arrive safely. Thank you for your understanding! 💙

Delayed Opening Tomorrow (Thursday)

Due to lingering icy conditions, the Rehab Center and the Wellness Center will open at NOON tomorrow (Thursday).

Our parking lots have been cleared as best as possible, but please be vigilant and use extra caution—there may still be slick spots in the lot.

✅ Take it slow
✅ Wear shoes with good traction
✅ Hold handrails when available
✅ If you’re unsure about traveling, give us a call before you head out

Your safety (and our staff’s) is the priority. We’ll see you at noon! ❄️💙

🚨 Closed Tomorrow 🚨

Hey friends — due to icy conditions, our parking lots have officially been promoted to ice skating rinks.

And while we are here to rehab people back from injuries… we’d really prefer not to create new patients in the parking lot. 😅

For everyone’s safety, the North Texas Rehabilitation Center will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday). We’ll share updates as soon as we know more. Stay warm, stay safe and please stay off the “black ice treadmill.” 🧊💙
