We are pleased to welcome Amber Rodriguez to our team as our newest provider. She will be seeing all of our walk-in patients. Amber is a native of Texoma with over a decade of healthcare experience and most recently worked at Healing Hands. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling and attending her children's sporting events.

BCBS patients, please be advised that a recent letter stating you must select a new primary care physician due to my alleged departure from the network is inaccurate. The contract under which I previously operated, affiliated with Kell West, is set to expire at the end of the month. This change is the sole reason for the notification. I remain an in-network provider with BCBS, having only transitioned to a new tax ID. You may verify this information by accessing the link provided in the letter, which will confirm your ability to continue selecting me as your primary care physician. This transition has necessitated similar updates with all commercial insurance providers following Kell West's closure. I appreciate your understanding regarding this temporary inconvenience.

United Healthcare Insurance mailed letters saying on March 1 I’m no longer in network. This was realated to the previous clinic contract when we were part of Kell West. When they closed, I had to submit for a new contract under our new company. So yes, what they sent is technically accurate. They just fail to mention that starting in March I’ll be contracted under Dorfcorp LLC dba Texoma Primary Care. All you’ll need to do next month is contact them and have me readded as your P*P. Sorry for the hassle but insurance is not known for making things easy!

Update to previous post. Clinic won’t open until 9a Wednesday.

The clinic will be open on Wednesday. However, wheelchairs and walkers remain inaccessible. It is advisable to avoid parking in the front spaces closest to the hospital, as the walkway remains frozen.

Our office will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, due to persistent winter hazards. Despite clearing our parking lot, numerous risks remain on walkways, necessitating this closure to prioritize patient safety and prevent potential falls. Our staff will monitor the patient portal, so please send a message if you require assistance.

The clinic will be closed tomorrow. This includes Gidgett Bates Mental Health as well. Gidgett will be doing telemedicine so if you have an appointment already scheduled please check your patient portal for telemedicine options.
