In the interest of safety for our vulnerable patient population, Wichita Falls Kidney Dialysis is still requiring the use of face masks while in our building. This includes patients, staff, and vendors. We are not allowing visitors at this time but will continue to monitor the situation and may makes changes if cases remain under control in Wichita County. Any changes to the mask requirement and visitor policies will be posted here and at the facility.

We are thankful for all the patients that were able to make their way for treatment so far this week. Thankful for those transportation services that ran so we could get them to and from. All the help clearing our parking lot so we could get them safely inside is so appreciated! The staff has worked hard this week through much adversity in their own homes (no power, no water, & horrible road conditions) to make sure our patients would be safe. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you.

As always during winter disasters such as this, please remember to limit your fluid intake to 16oz/day and limit your potassium containing foods. Stay safe and warm!

We will be open at WFKD tomorrow at 7 am for patients. Please take your time and arrive safely! We will likely experience more snow and possible worsening road conditions as the night goes on. If for any reason you are u able to make it in for treatment please be extra cautious of your fluid intake (16 oz or less per 24 hours) and limit your potassium intake as well. This is a week long snow/ice event woth more coming Tuesday/Wednesday! Don’t miss treatment if your don’t have to!
